Far East Asian Ox-Cart
(28S-CAW-102)
Known as a ‘Ushi Guruma’ in rural Japan, this East Asian Ox-Draw Cart is of a rustic design typical of such carts found throughout Eastern Asia from the earliest of times. In fact it was still to be seen as a very common rural vehicle during World War Two and even the Vietnam War.
This Ox Cart has thick wooden rims to its wheels to allow for wear and tear on the rugged roads and rural trackways where it was used.
