Arvann Stern ranks amongst the Grey Knight's longest-serving and most highly-decorated Brother-Captains. So highly regarded and valorous was Stern that, even from his early career, he was thought to be firmly on the path to becoming one of the Chapter's Grand Masters. Alas, his life was to take an altogether different course. A long-standing feud with the Daemon Prince M'kachen has left the fates of these two adversaries permanently entwined, perhaps until the end of days, or until one finally destroys the other. Until that time, Brother-Captain Stern constantly trains and prepares himself for the battle that will either change, or end, his life.
