Regimental flag of the 18th Line Infantry. They served in MacMahon's 1st Corps in the Army of the Rhine. The 18th Inf. Reg. fought with destinction in the Battle of Wœrth on the 6th Aug. 1870 during the inital phase of the Franco-Prussian War.
