Polish Army Twin-Turret 7TP Tank

This set contains one resin and metal vehicle - 7TP twin-turret Tank.
Produced since 1935 7TP tank was based on Vickers 6-ton mark E, but many improvements were introduced in the project - including more powerful engine and better armor. One of the variants was designed with twin-turret system, both armed with 2 Ckm wz. 30 (HMG pattern 30) machine guns. Many tests and evalutaions have shown that this variation lacked firepower and was rather outdated. Before the outbreak of World War II most of the twin-turret tanks were converted into single-turret versions. Only about 24 of them took part in the September fightings, mostly in the defence of Warsaw during 8th-27th where significant part of the stock was garrisoned for the training purposes. Unfortunately almost all of the tanks and crews were lost in the fightings and aerial bombings.
